Marriage, as I know it

'So how is it being married?', 'How is he as a husband?', 'Marriage is tough, right?'
Well this and an umbrage of questions get posed.
Let me state it outright that I am not claiming to know it all and have a perfect relation. This is me sharing bits from how "marriage" has been for me in the last one year plus. 

So the questions..I have always been at a lose of words to answer these question.
Those couple of hours of sitting by a priest didn't change me or him. 
It was formalization of 'us' to become man and wife as society deems right.
The next day and all days after have still been about me and him. Like it was before.

It has been about knowing and accepting each other as is.
It has been about accepting each other's routines.
It has been about understanding the non- negotiable. 
It has been about discovering our madness.
It has been about knowing our respective families.

Do we have difficult times? Yes, arguments, fights. My 'i need my space' days. 

Is it scary? No..it is the best part about life. Marriage is nothing but two individuals living each moment individually yet sharing it in the most organic way. This is how I see it today, tomorrow I would have discovered another dimension about it.

What does it require? May be nothing but just to be yourself. 

I am a planner, he is a lazy bum.
I like my gin and tonic, he is a teetotaler.
I am impatient, he is an epitome of calmness.
I love him and he loves me.
May be that's the requirement.

To be two kindered souls who understand the individuality yet love being entangled all the time.
